Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted January 28, 2016 So I stumbled upon this yesterday. I've never tried it but if it's good then this would be awesome! It's allegedly calorie free Peanut Butter as well as flavored Peanut Butter spreads. The company also has other calorie-free items as well. https://www.waldenfarms.com/products/spread_peanut.html

I mean... they had some flavor and I guess were better than eating dry salad, but only marginally. I was supposed to be allowed one green salad a day with calorie-free dressing during my 15 day pre-op "liquid" diet. I eventually just stopped eating the salads altogether and stuck to my Protein shakes, sugar-free Jello and popsicles.

I was allowed lean, non-breaded meat on a bed of greens for dinner for the first week, then all liquid the next week. So this turned into a salad. lol But I ate it dry. Good to know about the dressing. I really want to try that marshmallow dip and the chocolate dip.

Somebody will have to report on this peanut butter. Until then, I will have to stick with my PB2 to get my peanut butter fix...
4MRB4PHOTO 3,900 Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) The majority of the people who reviewed it on Amazon disliked this particular product. There is no such thing as a free lunch. I mean at 0 calories and comprised of mostly vegetable Fiber, no one should expect this to taste like the real thing. I still might give this a try (or one of the other blends). VDLT 244 Posted January 28, 2016 I have tried a couple of their products and they were pretty nasty unfortunately. And this coming from a girl who was started on diet foods in the second grade. I have tried the PB2 and the Jif and I like the Jif for shakes but keep it to 2 tbsp. instead of the 3 in the serving for caloric issues. I love and miss Peanut Butter so much! Stevehud 1,790 Posted January 28, 2016 i am dying laughing reading the reviews.. i especially love.... DON'T DO IT!! Nothing is worth eating this..nothing! I am a fan of many of Walden Farms products (the chocolate dip and the Honey Dijon dressing are definately worth trying and I would have no hesitation recommending them), however, this one is something that could be used as cruel and abusive punishment. Seriously, this stuff could be used for torture. Like another reviewer on here, I am used to eating things without sugar but this is just horrendous. Unless you are a total masochist, this is something to keep off your grocery list. The only reason it gets one star on here is because there is no minus a million- which it rightfully deserves. You have been warned....
Ronjohn 84 Posted January 28, 2016 LMAO at that one...
Stevehud 1,790 Posted January 28, 2016 this one is killing me EWWW EWWWW.This is just awful.I think the recipe is a combination of shaving cream and two peanuts blended in a food processor. and food coloring.Did I say ew?
Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted January 28, 2016 On of the reviewers said to mix 4 tablespoons of this with 1 tablespoon of real Peanut Butter to produce what tastes like Recees Peanut Butter. I watched a video on YouTube where a guy said the regular peanut butter is not good but the flavored ones are good. He had a jar of the cinnamon raisin one. Stevehud 1,790 Posted January 28, 2016 i think its hilarious to read these though, although not as uncontrollably funny as the dreaded sugar free Gummy bears reviews, these are funny just the same., at this stage for me, ( maint) when i want Peanut Butter i have natural stir it up Peanut Butter with only peanuts and salt listed on the ingredients list. muggzz 7 Posted January 28, 2016 You can add Water to the PB2 and spread it on celery or crackers ... Not too bad !!
Ronjohn 84 Posted January 28, 2016 You can add Water to the PB2 and spread it on celery or crackers ... Not too bad !! I actually do this and then stir in some sugar free jelly. Be careful with the crackers, as they will stall you out quickly. I use low carb wheat bread things and only eat like 4 of them.
