I am a nurse and have pulled many jp drains. I have never heard anyone say it hurt but sometimes people say it "feels weird"

I would not worry about that.

i am pre-op but my surgeon said she doesnt do drains because of the scar it leaves you i like that shes worried about how we will look after surgery as much as how we will feel
