Breast implants- considering them

I'm 6 months post op and an beginning to consider a boob job. I liked having D-DD boobs, and miss them. What I have now are saggy Cs. I'm looking into getting the Gummy Bear implants and was wondering if anyone has had these and if so what your thoughts are on them? Do you think it was it worth the additional cost compared to silicone or saline?

I have Gummy bear implants and I really like them. I actually need a revisions though. Not because there's anything wrong with the implants, but because I gained 80 pounds after I got them and then lost 100 pounds. That did a number on the little breast tissue I'd had when I originally got the implants and now I have pretty much NO real breast tissue and the implants can be seen below my skin. I am going to have to have new pockets created and the implants re-positioned. But the actual feel, texture, weight, and movement of the gummybear implants is awesome!

PS: Get a boob job. DO IT! I cannot tell you how happy I have been with that decision (even with my need for a revision now). I would say that decision ranks right up there with my decision to have gastric sleeve in terms of "best decisions I've ever made".

I haven't had them yet, but too am getting extremely saggy. Down to a 36D from a 44DD and I still have 36 lbs to lose. While I like how I look in clothes better, I definitely have considered plastics.

The surgery was painful the implants not so much!

I was told I didn't have enough breast tissue/fat left in my breasts to get the Gummy bear implants, they would show beneath. Same with the saline ones--on those the corners/edges would show. So I have regular silicone dual plane placement (half under and half over the muscle).

I never ever dreamed I would get implants! I always had huge ones. Not anymore.

I have the Gummy bear implants too. I can't compare to the alternatives but they look natural. I was at first disappointed that they didn't feel more natural, but my lover at the time told me I had just forgotten how young breasts felt, but he hasn't, and reported they felt great, natural and not hard. I always laugh when I think about that remark. My scars are invisible

I did have to have a revision on one, but that was caused by trauma and unrelated to the type - breast implant revisions are way more common than I realized (for a variety of reasons). They have been great in terms of making my body feel normal again, but do your research. My implants are quite small, but what it gives me is the upper fullness that I lost with age, weight loss etc.

Thanks for the responses. I hadn't thought too much about not having enough breast tissue or revisions. It's nice to see that revisions are not rare. I'm thinking that this probably won't happen for at least a year, so I have plenty of time for more research and my weight can stabilize.

I just had my breast reduction surgery on 1/22, and had the dressings removed on Thursday so I could finally see them. I must admit it was a bit of a shock, and they will take some getting used to. The surgeon took the dressings off and my first thought was "I have itty bitty titties!" and I asked the surgeon about implants immediately. He laughed and said that was a first, but he knows I'm a planner, so that would be fine.

The change is just so dramatic! To go from an H cup to what I'm guessing will be a C cup once the swelling goes down - it's going to take me a minute!

Rather than being sacs filled with saline or liquid/jelly silicone they are solid silicone gel the texture of a gummy bear

Have the Gummy bear implants as well and love them. On top of muscle as I had enough tissue. I only decided to get them a week before my Tummy Tuck and lift were scheduled but love them.

I was a G cup before. I had a breast reduction after my weight loss and I chose to not have implants and I am happy with my 'itty bitty titties' LOL

No longer do I have back pain - No longer do they get in the way - I love em :-)

I asked for a B cup and he said he might not be able to do that as he has to work with the body etc

After the Op with swelling I was a D cup - Then I was a C for a year or so and now I am a B - Just what I wanted....

The reason I chose to not have implants was mainly that I heard about how Implants don't last for life and I really didn't wanna hafta go in and get them redone... I just wanted to be 'Me' and not have to think about being 60 odd and being forced to go under the knife again - I am still not sure if what I heard was right that they only last ten years or so and then hafta be replaced? But - As I said - My 'itties' I am happy with :-)))

(Sorry for butting in and not answering the initial question at all - Silly me. lol)

No worries Scamp. It's something that I think about and then get too scared and put to the side. It's something that I have to work up the courage to do as I anticipate the pain to be much more intense than what WLS was. But for me the idea of boobs is mixed. I've enjoyed jogging with less bounce, but then look at myself in the mirror naked or with a bra and don;t care for the deflated skin. I guess it's a matter of self confidence and rediscovering who I am. I'm slowly seeing myself as a slimmer version of the old me, and boobs need to be a part of it. First world problems, I know.
