Pain around the port, please help !

I am 11 wks post op now, the pain started when I was 2 wks post op. The feeling is like burning pain between the port and the wound under it. It lasted 2 weeks, I took amoxycilin, and tylinol, and it disappeared after 1-2 weeks. Now it has started again the pain few days ago and it is different feeling now. It's like pain around the port area especially 2-5 mins after I finished eating. I feel like I have wound inside and not yet healed. Also feeling sore around the port area. Anyone has this experience please share with me. I'm now considering to remove out my band if I cannot solve this problem, it frustrates me so much and I has been very depressed. My doctor said it is nothing and he cannot help me. He even asked me to be patient, I 'm so disappointed with him very very... :help:

Give it time to heal. It takes several weeks but the pain will go away. I had the same experience. Now my port is flipped after 2 years and I have to get it repostioned. They can tell when you get your first fill if your port is turning. My was on it's side for a year and now has flipped completely over. That's what I would watch for because mine started out like yours. Pain, antibiotic, felt better, still no pain, but it has flipped.
