Is there other Protein Shake as good as Premier shake but w/o lactose.

I love that one but is not good for my stomach is good this cause today I was feeling inflated and I was gonna race something for that but instead I drank the Protein shake and I feel relive now, but I want something as good as that but that will not make me run to the bathroom after drink in it.

I have heard of SixStar, Isopure. I know you can go to any GNC nutritional vitamin/supplement store and the staff can help advise you. I do not know what your preference is, of course, but you can always purchase a high quality Protein Powder and mix it with lactose free milk or with almond/soy milk. There are also lactaid chewable tablets that help your system process dairy. You just chew one a few minutes before you drink your shake. Hope you find something that works for you so you can continue on your weight loss journey ????

I used Muscle Milk Light (vanilla Creme) powder and blended it with Water. A few months after surgery I started using a half a banana and blending it into the Protein shake. Muscle Milk Light is lactose free.

I use powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury with Fairlife milk. The milk is lactose free and makes a Protein shake 34 grams of Protein per 8 oz. serving. I like the chocolate Splendor. I have developed a sensitivity to lactose since surgery but this doesn't bother me.

best,

pam

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
