tammyrollo 6 Posted January 24, 2016 I'm having my surgery on the 8th of February (OMG!). I'm so excited I can barely stand it. It has been a long 9 months getting to this point. I have my nutrition class Tuesday and my husband is finally going with to one of my meetings, he's always working or in school. I'm anxious to learn what else I need to do. I've been reading and watching everything I can get my hands on (I'm a nerd what can I say) as well as talking to others who have already been through this. So I think I'm as prepared as I can be. Good luck to all of you that are getting ready to join this special group of people that have chosen life and health over food.

toddindy1 2 Posted February 8, 2016 Good luck it's 8 weeks out for me. Make sure you walk a lot I'm the hospital and when you get home! You will have a lot of gases in you stomach and shoulders and it hurts worse than the surgery. Walking is the only thing that helped me. No one tells you this, but it's been really hard but it's worth it down the road!!
