jess9395 5,449 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm not sure that I've even tried more than a bite or two of rice since my surgery to know how it affects me. Rice was never like my favorite food or anything so it's one of the easy ones for me to stay away from without really trying. Anything that I would have had served over rice pre-op I just eat by itself now and don't miss the rice at all. My tastes of rice were all accidental, things I didn't realize it was in (like a burrito bowl). Didn't take more than a dozen grains to let me know it was NOT for me anymore! Valentina 2,642 Posted January 25, 2016 I now just put cooked cauliflower through my potato ricer and oo--laa-laa!--rice. It's very good.

MIMISAN 404 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) @@Inner Surfer Girl Your therapist MAY be right...I had sex when I shouldn't have, got knocked up when I shouldn't have, we were poor and I stayed home and ate all the time. Gained 60 lbs with that pregnancy and never lost it all. Therefore SEX=FOOD=FAT No wonder I never wanted sex again until I had my hysterectomy!
