Kindle 8,667 Posted January 23, 2016 A couple hours of hunger never killed anyone. I get hungry every 2-3 hours and I either suck it up until I get a chance to eat, or grab a handful of nuts or some carrot sticks or couple pieces of Jerky. Or drink a bunch of Water till its time to eat again. The other thing it could be is acid. Are you on a PPI or H2 Blocker? If not, try taking some maaloxx or tums or Rolaids when you feel "hungry" to see if it helps.

cmanlick 1 Posted February 27, 2016 I have the same issue- hunger. My program requires 3 meals a day- no Snacks. I find that is too hard to do, especially when I am working out a lot. I find that if I drink a Protein drink (low calorie one like Muscle Milk 100 cal, 20 G protein) that it helps with the hunger until I can eat my next meal. I also noticed that now that I am over 4 months out of surgery, I can eat more at a meal if I let myself. I try to stick to 700-900 calories a day but sometimes it is hard.
