My diet is better than your diet...anyone still watching?

Recommended Posts

Ok, so I really like Shaun T and that's why I started this show but I'm hooked. I have never watched weight loss reality tv before but I can't look away!

I must say I was SO HAPPY to see CLEAN MAMA DIET finally go home! And I was appalled that she blamed the contestant for the diet failure! I felt so bad for her...not only is she working and not seeing any weight loss but she is then chastised by her " trainer".

I also feel for Jeff, but his attitude adjustment seems to be working and he is losing! So happy for him!!

Oh yeah I'm still watching! Can't believe the Clean mama lady just blasted her for not following her plan. Not once did I see any kind of exercise that was going to help her lose weight. The ones she was doing were just weird. I think her new trainer is pretty cool and the martial arts portion of it seems fun. I like the wild diet, I wish I could have tried that before WLS lol

Wild diet sounds awesome and low carb but I don't think I could do butter in my coffee ????

I finally saw risked with the new trainer. I Iike him!!!

I'm not sure what the he'll is up with Taj but I think the wife situation is taking its toll and making her very negative. I feel bad for her.

Jeff is frustrating! I know he had potential but he is seriously standing in his own way. He needs to say enough with excuses etc and just DO IT !

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
