Plastic surgeon in Tj

Recommended Posts

I had my extended Tummy Tuck, breast lift with augmentation, all over Lipo, and fat grafting with Dra. Laura Carmina Cardenas back in Aug. 2011. I had a fantastically positive experience and received excellent care and support from Dra. Cardenas herself (came to see me every day for two weeks in the Recovery House) as well as the nursing staff of the Beauty Care Recovery House where I stayed for two full weeks post-op. I plan to go back there ASAP to have my thighs done and a revision to my breasts.

I had lost 90 pounds "on my own" prior to plastics, thus the need for them in the first place, But I regained 80 pounds over the next three years post-plastics, which is why I was sleeved in Sept. 2014. My tummy tuck held up fantastically well through the re-gain and loss, but I think that's mostly to do with the fact that when I regained the weight, it almost all went into my hips/thighs. So now that I've re-lost the weight I have a lot of excess skin in my thighs. I need the breast revision, because the weight regain and re-loss seems to have completely depleted what real breast tissue I had and caused my implants to become more obvious (I can feel them through my skin!) and the left one to become slightly malpositioned. I'm hoping Dra. Casrdenas will be able to help me out with that somehow, though I haven't consulted her about it yet.

You could look into Dr Medina at Trinity Medical in Tijuana too! He was listed in Forbes magazine as one of Mexico's top plastic surgeons:)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
