Bravewonder 2 Posted January 20, 2016 This is my down fault too... And then my body reminds me when I start to feel a headache because my body is dehydrated. (Sigh)

I'm 4 days out and struggling to consume the right amount of water. And being this dehydrated is making my blood pressure and heart rate go up. Any tips to getting in fluids? Sophie74656 1,572 Posted January 20, 2016 Depends on how far along you are. First couple of weeks it was tiny sips and only a few at a time. Now I'm almost 5 months out and i can do a few big gulps at a time

I couldn't stand drinking water post-op. I got fluids from broth (20-40ml at a time), ice blocks and crushed ice.
