jhclikesshopping@gmail.com 285 Posted January 17, 2016 Happy day everyone! I went show dhopping and it seems my feet are smaller....size 10 to size 9. Really, i had that much fat in my feet? Anyone else?
Kathy812 794 Posted January 17, 2016 Oh yea, I went from a 9.5 to 8.5! Yippee!
_Kate_ 2,224 Posted January 17, 2016 I was always a 'wide' foot now im 'normal' plus i went from a 7 1/2 to a 6 sometimes 6 1/2. I didn't think about losing so much from my feet !!
DaisyAmy 561 Posted January 17, 2016 For those of you who went down in shoe size dramatically, would you have considered your feet "fluffy" before?? I wouldn't have considered my feet to be fat before, but would love to be down from a 10w!
KristenVSG2014 1,872 Posted January 17, 2016 No I never thought my feet held much fat but I went from a 10 to an 8-8.5.
Paula'sVSGLife 49 Posted January 17, 2016 You've just totally excited me, making me realise I will be able to fit so many more shoes! I have wide feet but that should definitely change.
mokt 58 Posted January 17, 2016 I have experienced this as well! I am only 2 months out and have lost about 50 lbs since surgery and have already noticed that all of my footwear is too big. I never considered my feet to be fat so I never thought they would get smaller....I guess it's a great excuse to go shoe shopping!
jhbeck 29 Posted January 17, 2016 I'm curious if your feet had "grown" through your adulthood. I've been wearing the same size shoe since I was 12. I did go from narrow to medium after my 2nd pregnancy. I would be surprised if my shoe size changes with weight loss. Kathy812 794 Posted January 17, 2016 (edited) @@DaisyAmy, like Kristen, I never thought my feet were fat either. But I went from a size 8.5 when I wore a size 8-10 in clothes to a 9.5 wide as I started to gain weight. My largest dress size was a 20 & depending on the top, a 22. I can now wear a size 10 again & my feet are back to an 8.5 Interestingly, back in the day, when I weighed 165, I was in a size 14, not sure what's happening. My sister is slightly under 5"2. & she weighs the exact same & wears a 14?! I don't get it. Edited January 17, 2016 by Kathy812
KristenVSG2014 1,872 Posted January 17, 2016 I had to dig around through old pics for a comparison but here you go. (I'm 161.6 now so the "after pic" is a few months old). My feet look the same, just bonier.
Remmy75 32 Posted January 18, 2016 Even as a guy I lost a shoe size. I was 13 wide and now I am 12 regular.
Jenkins 26 Posted January 18, 2016 Oh I just bought 5 new pairs of shoes in the sales! Im 10 days preop so I better get some serious usage out of them!
naturegirl 320 Posted January 19, 2016 I haven;t really noticed any changes in my feet size other than them being bonier and my toes being a little less plump. This said, I wore a pair of Keen sandals two weeks ago that I haven;t worn in months and had to tighten them because they were stretched out in the width. I don;t expect a big change n my feet size. I've been wearing size 10 shoes since 6th grade. Sadly my 10yo daughter has my feet.
justright66 19 Posted February 6, 2016 I'm just looking forward to wearing heels again. I've heard when you loose the weight they are not so uncomfortable to walk on. At the moment I live in rubber slip ons and my feet ache a lot. Hope this all changes.
sweetcin 110 Posted February 8, 2016 Yay! So happy I'm not the only one with "shrinking feet syndrome"! Lol I went from a size 9 to7 1/2. I am about 17 months post op.
