Metabolism?

Recommended Posts

I am a little over four weeks out from surgery and weight loss has stalled. I lost 15 lbs. during the pre surgery diet and 14 lbs since surgery but...only 1 lb. in the last 2 weeks. Why is it slowing so much? I eat between 1000-1200 calories daily and log my food in myfitnesspal. My doctor cleared me for exercise so I've started using the elliptical this week. My job is not sedentary also. I go in next week for my first fill, but does that mean I should be eating under 1000 calories to keep losing? I'm very frustrated at this point and hope weight loss will resume soon. I've been trying everything I can think of/read about - more Water, green tea, etc. but come on! Could anyone share a similar experience or some tips please? I need motivation:(

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Everyone stalls and most people experience their first stall about three weeks after surgery.

Just follow your program, stay off the scale, and Embrace the Stall.

Thanks for the info - seeing that it is common is helpful.
