cbruce125 114 Posted January 15, 2016 I am 5 months pre - Op and have been sitting at 201 to 203 for 3 weeks now! I just want to hit 199! Did anyone else stall as they got close to 199? I am doing what I know to do. Fluids are good, Protein is good. I cycle my calories anywhere from 1200 to 1500. Gah! Why couldn't I have stalled at 198? Lol Am I going to start losing again or will I be stuck for a while?
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted January 16, 2016 It's amazing how the scale knows and just mocks us, right? It did that to me too. I stayed off the scale for 3 weeks when that happened to me, and when I got back on it was at 196 or something.
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted January 16, 2016 Sometimes going crazy can be a short trip. Just hang around here and ask questions.
TinyTink 268 Posted January 16, 2016 Is there anything else you can change up? Exercise, the fats you eat, the number of carbs? You could still be losing inches and not weight as your body adjusts.
rastus 35 Posted January 16, 2016 Early in the piece I found I was not really what would be classed as 'hungry' [still the case] so cut back what I was eating. Unfortunately not eating caused my the mind/body to think it was going into diet/starvation mode & weight loss just stalled, until I started eating reasonably & regularly. Only then did weight loss re-commence. My Doctor said there was no need to count carbs or calories/points etc. Just eat what you liked, until I felt satisfied.
