QuilterGal 216 Posted January 15, 2016 I have been on Actigall for six months since my surgery as a precaution to prevent gall stones. I wonder if it's okay now to stop taking this since I had my six-month checkup yesterday, and everything was smashingly fabulous. My PC didn't mention stopping it, but I think it was an oversight. dhrguru 1,238 Posted January 15, 2016 Why don't you call your physician and ask?
Debbie Jean 406 Posted January 15, 2016 I also took Actigall post-op for six months per my surgeon's protocol. I suspect you can stop it now but I would call the office to verify that.
QuilterGal 216 Posted January 15, 2016 FYI -- I'm waiting on a response from the doc, but I wanted to see what everyone's experience was here with this.

leanne1126 84 Posted January 15, 2016 I only took mine for 6 months as well. It's expensive and was happy to be done with it!
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 15, 2016 I was instructed to take mine until the prescription ran out. I agree that you should ask your doctor.
