Lactose intolerant

Sadly, it's really trial and error. Your body will let you know right away what is and isn't going to work for you.

Can you tolerate whey isolates? If not then I would look into vegan shakes/powders. There are loads of them out there, but taste varies. You wll have to learn by trial and error what you like/dislike.

I was thinking about trying to premier shakes. I heard they are really good. I don't mind drinking milk contained ones while I'm home but when I'm working, it will help not to have an upset stomach. I work in retail and deal with customers. I'm definitely gonna try different things.

100% whey Protein isolate has WAY less lactose than milk. In fact, less lactose than some lactose free milks, so you may do fine with that. Besides the Jay Robb egg Protein, I've also had and liked Spirutein (pea, rice and soy protein), Raw Protein and Raw Fit (sprouted seed protein) and other vegan Proteins. The only one I didn't like was hemp. Funky taste.

The premier Protein shakes have milk protein concentrate, caseinate and whey concentrate, so will have a lot more lactose than the powders with 100% whey isolate.< /p>
