Joymarie333 41 Posted January 14, 2016 I purchased Multivitamin from the advantage bariatric website and after chewing one I feel so sick to my stomach I start to gag I hate taking these Vitamins so in the past couple of days I haven't taken any I also have the calcium citrate chocolate chewables and I just hate taking those as well and I just haven't been taking my vitamins how long until I can just take regular pills instead of doing chewables. Somebody please help
Champ715 207 Posted January 14, 2016 When was your surgery? I couldn't get my chewables down either for the first month. They tasted so chalky and nasty. My plan didn't allow me to swallow a pill bigger than a pencil eraser until I was on solid foods (which was 8 weeks for me). Do you have a nutritionist or bariatric advisor that you can talk to? He/she should be able to help you find some other options or at least let you know when you can progress to a tablet. It does get easier. Hang in there! Susan66 128 Posted January 14, 2016 Soon after surgery I couldn't stand the smell or taste of my chewable vitamins from Bariatric Fusion. I skipped about 10 days and then tried again. I'm doing better with them now though.

kjt1994 2 Posted January 16, 2016 My surgery was 12/10. At my 2 week check in my doctor told me I could start on my kids chewable vitamins until I wasn't as sensitive.
