Hopefully by tomorrow I will be in less pain. I am so sorry to hear that. It's certainly true that everyone is different and recovers differently. I hope you get some relief soon. Are you able to walk the halls? I'm sore, but it's tolerable.
SHOTzY* 114 Posted February 10, 2016 what you've shared here is incredibly helpful and necessary for us who are about to have ours. I'm in tomorrow morning and only now getting nervous about excessive pain and hoping I can get back to teaching in 12 days. Yes, I've been imagining it to be pretty bad, so again, thank you for this message, even though I know we'll all experience it differently, it was great to hear! It gave me some more confidence @@pedro Vale-Inclan I know you had surgery today, Pedro. How are you feeling?? I, as well as some others, had ours done on the 8th. I'll be truthfully honest, I didn't feel chatting or posting on my phone at all. I was so busy trying to do all the drinking and breathing and walking my surgeon wanted. It was a little overwhelming. Im on pain meds about 6 hrs., so I feel like my pain is under control. Yes, it was challenging immediately after surgery, but my second day was much better!! I felt stronger, and encouraged. Today is my third "day" at the hospital, and I'm doing everything they ask, and holding everything down easily! The staff are so nice and considerate towards my needs. I knew you had mentioned you likely would not have visitors, so im visiting you in the virtual sense ????!! I sincerely hope your pain is being controlled, and you are sipping fluids with no problems. You have mentioned going back to your teaching employment. Gods speed, Pedro! I hope you feel well enough to do that.

Johndoe 3 Posted February 11, 2016 Just received my surgery date today! 2/22! Putting through insurance next week! Excited but all of a sudden nervous! Anxious about the insurance approval, the surgery itself, and life afterwards but my excitement certainly outweighs the worries. Would be great to find a few people going through it around the same time! ????I had my surgery 2/3/16 and at first I was extremely scared but don't worry it was fairly easy after the surgery the only problems were the pain in the stomach and relearning to pass gas other than that it was pretty easy going. On yea and make sure you keep hitting that morphine button lol????
