Giselle426 3 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) So I posted a couple months ago about my disappointment 9 months post op and now in 2 days I am offically 1 year post op and my total weight loss has been 40lbs. That was acheived in 3-4 months post op and since then its been a bad battle. Anyway as I look back one entire year and my failure it is soo discouraging! Especially coming from my 100lb weight loss with my band when I had it 5 years ago. I went to see a nutrionist (not same that i have with my surgeon) and she insisted I up my intake, because I am a year post op and im so tall 5'10 that 1200 cals arent enough for me? Any success stories out there with bleek start like mine but greater afters? Edited January 13, 2016 by Giselle426
BLERDgirl 6,417 Posted January 13, 2016 What's a typical eating day like for you? Do you exercise? I know it sounds counter -productive, but upping your calories may actually jumpstart your weight loss. If you give your body too few calories it can be just as bad as too many. Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 13, 2016 I agree with @BLERDGirl. Are you tracking your food? What is your Protein target? Are you getting in all of your Protein and fluids every day? Are you taking all of your Vitamins and supplements as directed? If you aren't eating enough, especially enough protein, and/or not staying hydrated, you may have a difficult time losing weight.
