different people swear by different things but the reality is, you just have to keep up with your program and your body will decide when it's good and ready to start losing again. It will pass! :)

Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the weight loss process. If you intend to lose weight, you will stall. Most people experience their first stall about three weeks post op.

Just follow your program.

Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids.

Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed.

Exercise.

And stay off the scale.

Embrace the Stall!

There is nothing more than patience and following the plan. I have had many stalls and tried many things.

Your body simply needs time to adjust. It is worth the wait!

How many times a day do you post this? ???? I feel like doctors do not warn about this and should.

I'm going through my week 3 stall currently. I'm continuing to do what I have been and just riding it out. For me it's a nice chance to look at the other non scale progress I've made. Clothes fit better, tons more energy, and so far (fingers crossed) no dumping! I'll gladly go through stalls instead of gains!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
