AmyQwith2 23 Posted February 1, 2016 I only have to do liquids the day before my surgery so I escape the 2 week liquid diet I have been doing 2 Protein Shakes a day for a few weeks already (mon-fri) and will probably just do it all 7 days those last 2 weeks. hindered2happy 1 Posted February 1, 2016 Oh good for you! Do you have kids? Married? I have a 4,7 & 9 yr old. My hubby & I aren't sure if were going to tell them & if we do, how we are...thank God, that's my main concern @ this point & time.
AmyQwith2 23 Posted February 1, 2016 I am married and have 2 kids - 6 and 9. We just told them last night because my 9 year old has been asking about why I am seeing so many doctors. He was starting to get nervous that there was something wrong with me - and I had planned on telling him anyway (although I would have rather waited until insurance approval went through first). I just told them that Mommy was going to a lot of doctors so that I can make sure I'm healthy enough for surgery. The surgery is going to help me lose weight and be healthier. We then explained that I will be sore for a little while, and that I will be eating differently for a while - but that the results will be worth it.
hindered2happy 1 Posted February 1, 2016 I do like that if we decide. Aren't you so excited about being so much more active w/them? Also, I've been YouTube addicted w/hearing stories & seeing peoples progress. I think I'll def do a progression slideshow to contribute back but not sure of a vlog yet. My husband plans on having it shortly after so we have a lot going on.

lupelane 12 Posted February 1, 2016 My surgery is scheduled for March 16th AT UCLA. I've had my Psych evaluation, my blood work and an EKG done, plus a few classes at the hospital. Really excited about it! I've lost 13 pounds on my own so far with a 1200 calorie diet. It would be nice to have a FB page for March Sleevers
