Wonderkind 23 Posted January 9, 2016 We have state ins that was covering everything. Just got a letter saying they are changing us from care to blue plus. Anyone know or guess if they will still cover surgery?

Wonderkind 23 Posted January 11, 2016 Sorry, I didn't explain that...blue plus is the state ins version or branch of bcbs. Thank you for your help!
Wonderkind 23 Posted January 11, 2016 update: I was able to make some phone calls today to find out what's going on... My county dropped UCARE for BLUEPLUS. Before that from Nov till Feb first we were in some kind of limbo without being told! I was going to have my surgery at Essentia Duluth with Dr Bettendorf. However they are out of network for Blueplus and I'll need to transfer to Abbott Northwestern in the Twin Cities (that's 6 hours south of me!) The good news is that it seems everythign will transfer and I'll only need to attend the seminar online, take the test and fill out the forms (already completed this today!) They will get my records and I'll need to meet with the surgeon and their NUT once and then he'll order any additional tests and submit for ins coverage then set a date! Sounds easy. So thankful for this answer to prayer!
