Jerzprincess 5 Posted January 8, 2016 I had my Vertical Sleeve on 8/31/10. I am 5 years and 4 months post op and I remember the day like it was yesterday. I still struggle with my past of obesity. I feel pain after every meal. I go through slumps of not losing any weight no matter how much I workout. I have excess skin in my midsection as well as my thighs. Everyday is a battle against obesity.

You look awesome and I am sorry that you have pain with eating, that has to be a struggle. You mentioned slumps of not losing weight. Are you still attempting to lose weight or are you in maintenance? And how much do you weigh currently, if you don't mind sharing, what was the starting weight, and your goal if you are not there yet?
Jerzprincess 5 Posted January 8, 2016 MiaF I am trying to maintain my weight at 146lbs. I want to get to 140lbs. 6 lbs doesn't sound like much but it is. I started my journey at 277lbs. I didn't "look that big" because I am 5ft7n.
Georgia 2,908 Posted January 9, 2016 Agreed. Lifelong struggle. Others may say not but for me it's too easy to eat junk. I had sleeve two months before you. Currently re-losing 20 pounds to get back to 150. I'm 5'8" and 62 so I'm determined to keep at it because I did this for HEALTH reasons first and cosmetics next. Don't want to lose sight of that!!! Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted January 9, 2016 Congratulations on the weight loss and your perseverance. Thanks for sharing your experience. When you say you still feel pain after every meal what does that mean? What kind of pain? Is it pain from eating too much? From acid? What does your doctor say? As you are still trying to lose weight are you still closely following your program? Tracking your food? Tracking your Protein and Fluid goals every day? What does your NUT say? Just curious! You look great by the way!
