im with the dj 0 Posted January 7, 2016 I was sleeved Nov.24 sw 235 cw.194. I was wondering if anyone feels like they are loosing weight to fast ? Also I feel like I can't eat that much and I always have to take a sip of Water with my food because I feel it gets stuck. Another thing is also with protien . Any suggestions on what to eat to get my suggested protien intake a day ?
MarciaN 391 Posted January 7, 2016 I was sleeved on Nov 24th and feel that my weight loss is slow (probably no matter what we lose we think something is not quite right LOL) I've lost 16 pounds in the 6 weeks since surgery. That is exactly what I was losing on my preop diet plan except I'm eating half the calories. I purchased nectar unflavored Protein which has 10 g of Protein for 40 calories. If I think I might be low on protein for a day I try to mix this in to whatever I am eating (ie low fat greek yogurt; broth; turkey chili etc.) It doesn't really have that much of taste. Sometime (but not often because my dr doesn't want me to do a lot of shakes) I will only do 1/2 of the serving of the shake and add the nectar. That way I get a lot of protein without all the SWEET taste. I'm only supposed to be eating 600 calories a day so almost everything I eat is protein. Shrimp is yummy and has a lot of protein without a lot of calories. Good Luck IM!

Windalyn 1 Posted January 7, 2016 I was sleeved Nov 17th, only a short time before you. Wow I wish I was loosing weight as fast as you are! You are doing a great job! As for Protein, one of my favorite things to eat is dannon oikos triple zero yogurt. One serving will have 15 grams of Protein and it comes in so many yummy flavors. I have also found that it is sold at most of the local grocery stores too. -Amy
