josiegirl 0 Posted July 26, 2007 New here, also. It's been five weeks. My first fill is coming up. Truthfully, I'm nervous about my weigh-in because my weight seems to fluctuate. I guess that's normal? Should I get rid of the scale?
renea 0 Posted July 26, 2007 yes you should get rid of the scale. buti am telling you that and i feel obsessed with it. although i have not weighed in over a month. i had my surgery 25apr07
KYteacher 0 Posted July 26, 2007 I'm coming up on week 4 and having the same problem...a little fluctuation, but I'm not losing! I lost 15 pounds starting the week before and during the first two weeks after surgery, but none since then...just up and down a few pounds.:faint: I'm slowly eating more, but feel like I'm eating sensibly. Is this normal?
Tyanna 0 Posted July 26, 2007 I am also 5 weeks post op and I just seem to be in a holding pattern. I get my first fill next week and I hope that it helps. At least I haven't gained anything I have lost back. I think this is normal at this point before a fill. I hope we all start losing again soon.
josiegirl 0 Posted July 26, 2007 Thanks, everyone. I'm starting to think that it is normal for weight to fluctuate before 1st fill. Mine is scheduled for Aug. 8th. I had lost 15 lbs. also (at week 3).
juliegeraci 7 Posted July 26, 2007 No, don't get rid of the scale...just use it less often. It is natural to gain weight once you get on solids. You will lose it after you start getting fills.
