kmicmil 3 Posted May 27, 2016 Yes, mine has been what I call shedding. Not coming out in hunks or anything. Just when running my hands through it with product I'll have alot of strands on my hands. I too was told that it could last up to 6 months. I just keep trying to take my Vitamins like I'm supposed to. My daughter is a hair dresser and suggested cutting it a lil shorter and adding more layers. So we did and I love it! I'm also using better quality hair products and have noticed less shedding than when using the cheaper products. So I think for me the combination of working on both the inside (vitamins) and the outside (better products) has helped slow mine down quite a bit. I also agree with IrishGermanRN on trying to get the calorie count up! It's still hard sometimes though.

I also agree with IrishGermanRN on trying to get the calorie count up! It's still hard sometimes though. I just started using Organics Biotin and collagen Shampoo and conditioner. Prior to that I have always used Biolage products, but felt maybe the hair needed some extra Vitamins. Not sure if it is a good product or not. I asked my hairdresser but she said she is not familiar with many of the OTC shampoo's and conditioner's. My hair is already shoulder length with layers, but the hairdresser said she notices how thin it is getting, but that it's still healthy!
chavezmommy 146 Posted May 28, 2016 It could be worse right? We could still be struggling with our weight , worn out, depressed. I like the idea of a new cut!!!
chavezmommy 146 Posted May 28, 2016 Do you think highlights or one color will hide the thinning more?

Read2016 658 Posted May 28, 2016 Sulfate free Shampoo are very gentle to the hair.... Highlights could help depending on their placement and how light you go compared to your based color... I've already been speaking to my stylist about this, she said I may have to cut my hair to a longer bob... It's only hair, and I can hide it better than I can hide fat! LOL Plus, it's only temporary. Maybe when it starts growing again it will be thicker than the straight, fine hair I have now! HapyTrls 71 Posted June 2, 2016 I'm a January 26 sleeved. Doing ok HW 293 SW 275 CW 227 GW 135 Calories try to stay at 800 or just under. With Kasier program we are to use a Protein Drink as 2 Snacks a day for first 6 months in order to get enough Protein, I was not doing this usually too full or schedule Dr got on me the other day about it with spouse there so now make it a point. Actually helps with grazing if running around. Exercise was a problem for a couple months due to gout fare ups now on meds which reduced uric acid for the first time in 5 yrs. off all blood pressure meds(3), not diabetic any more still in pre diabetic range but dr said it should keep going down. Stage 3 kidney disease now stage 2(moderate to mild) don't know if it will reduce more but will ck in 2 months on next ck up. hair, was falling out before surgery (age/menopause?) in Jan went with a short cut (always have colored) . Oh yea no beef or pork for 6 months per Kasier plan. Just bought a bunch of new tops and slacks (40%off this past wkend) been wearing 3x swimming in them now, I was able to get into 1x do not like skin tight just need to keep work on gut area though to look better. katladee 156 Posted June 11, 2016 How many, and how long, are these "stalls" lasting for everyone? I'm on my second one since my surgery in January, and this one is lasting 3 weeks already! I'm exercising and watching my calories, but feeling very frustrated! Arrrrrrgh!
KnowNothing 20 Posted June 11, 2016 For me the surgery only worked the first five weeks. Afterwards I've been in a lchf/Banting/ketogenic diet in order to continue losing weight. Sometimes I combine it with fasting as well. Either way, I've been in a stall for around a month, even with the diet. I believe this is a trial of body biochemistry, patience, habit forming and physical change... Nobody said it would be easy. It's been a wonderful journey! But sometimes I get a little bit annoyed, and at the same time very thankful. Good luck , Ariana

I'm exercising and watching my calories, but feeling very frustrated! Arrrrrrgh! I feel your pain! I've been stalled for 3 weeks now. Prior to this I was stalled for 2 weeks but then suddenly lost 5lbs over night. I think we just have to keep the calories, keep the Protein up, keep drinking Water and ride the stall out. This time next year we won't even remember that we were complaining today. Lol
