bassmel 20 Posted January 5, 2016 Hi, Im so glad I figured out how to join this forum? I belong to another online support group but they are so much younger than I am. I've thought about this surgery for a long time. It's almost here. I'm on day 8 of the pre op diet, tomorrow I go for pre op and seeing my surgeon. Does anybody have leg ulcers (slow healing wounds )? I hoping the surgery will help me with this. Its chronic and a pain in the butt !

Does anybody have leg ulcers (slow healing wounds )? I hoping the surgery will help me with this. Its chronic and a pain in the butt ! I was sleeved on 1/11/16 , I was 64 at the time and had suffered with leg ulcers. This year has been the first time in awhile that I did not have any open wounds. I've lost 100lbs and have to wear compression stockings, but to not have any open sores is glorious. Good luck on your surgery and new life adventure.
