ReneK 107 Posted January 4, 2016 So I started my liquid diet today.....um, so far so good! Im just trying to make sure I get a lot of Protein so Im not hungry.....we shall see how it goes! Anyone else starting the liquid fun with me this week? I'm on Day 13! I really haven't been hungry at all. I had one episode where my stomach growled and I just ate a little bit of sugar free Jello. Herbal tea and broth also help. It sounds weird but they are "comforting".
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted January 4, 2016 My advice is to constantly drink all day, even when you are not thirsty. You want to keep your stomach "full" at least the first few days, once you get used to it, it won't be so bad.

You want to keep your stomach "full" at least the first few days, once you get used to it, it won't be so bad. This is great advice as it's what my nutritionist advised me to do. Make drinking habitual and don't wait until your thirsty, or "it's time" to drink. Have some form of liquid with you at all times.
Nurse_Lenora 903 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) That's exactly what I'm doing! Lol I have a 24oz Starbucks cup and I'm continually sipping from it....when I start to feel a tad bit like I might be hungry I take a few long sips to help tide me over for a bit. So far so good!!!!! OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted January 4, 2016 Yeah basically if you wait until you are thirsty of hungry it is already too late. You want to never be thirsty or hungry.
