charjsweet 27 Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) HW 254 SW 248 CW 233 GW 140 Ht. 5'5". I have been taken off all diabetes medication. I have also had the doses lowered on MS medications especially the steroids. I'm feeling better. Sticking to the eating plan (liquid/puree diet) I walk everyday and I try to stay positive. I live with junkfood junkies. But they can have that.. I'm glad I don't have to stick myself with a needle full of insulin that is victory enough. I do thank God and all the people who are supportive towards me on this journey. Losing is winning in so many areas. Thanks y'all. animallover1247 249 Posted January 4, 2016 So glad you have been able to go off your insulin! That is really great news. I hope I can go home off my insulin. I have been able to decrease my fast acting insulin by changing my eating habits. Yes, it would be great to not have to shoot myself with a needle multiple times a day...it would also be nice not to spend so much money on being obese! charjsweet 27 Posted January 4, 2016 I was very surprised when he told me to stop the diabetes regimen. My A1C is down to 5.9 it was 8.
Monique1980 0 Posted January 4, 2016 My A1c went all the way to 4.2 and she couldn't believe that it's been that low. So she discharged me from her and no insulin. I'm so happy. Finally in a size 14. Just pray I reach my goal weight
