talkingmountain 83 Posted January 19, 2016 I got a card and plan to carry it, but I doubt I'll use it often. Most "kid menus" are health-crushers like mac'n'cheese, chicken nuggets, etc. I'd be more likely to order from the normal menu or appetizers.
Sajijoma 1,324 Posted January 22, 2016 I haven't gotten a card, but I will have to ask. I would love to go to Sweet Tomatoes, but I refuse to pay 8.99 with a coupon to eat 1/4c of lettuce and maybe a Tomato if I'm lucky.
coggietm 34 Posted January 22, 2016 I have a card. Tried to use it twice with no success. Leftovers for the next day.
samcl1 52 Posted February 15, 2016 I have the card but I've been splitting a meal with my husband on the few times I've eaten out. If he's really hungry we order an extra side order of something which is cheaper than me getting a whole meal I can't eat. I'm bad about taking food home and throwing it away two days later so I try not to do that.
Jessica Ellison-Correa 66 Posted February 16, 2016 I'm big on left overs so I really don't need that card once in post op
cadladykim 55 Posted February 16, 2016 got the card. I have found buffets wont honor the kids price for me regardless if I show them the card. Soup or appetizer is my normal go to. But I might order a kids meals if there is something decent on it or I ask for the "senior" portion of something I really want (I'm to young to actually ask for it but no one has asked to see if I have an aarp card either). Chrissy Shay 3 Posted May 12, 2016 Did you get a card from your surgeon to show to waiters that let you order off the kids menu? Are most places receptive to this?If you get your procedure done in Mexico will you still get the card? Learningtolive 109 Posted May 23, 2016 I never got a card but I'm fine with this. I usually just bring the leftovers home and my husband gets a nice meal out of it lol.
