As I write this I think, "why do I even try?" However, I just want to add my 2 cents. AGAIN.

1. Dr Lopez almost killed me and Dr Billy saved me. I am not the only one but I will respect their privacy. They dont post here anymore due to all the negitivity following their heart felt comments. So sad. The ladies I speak of were some of the pioneers of this site and so much fun to interact with. I miss them.

2. How can anyone say that they have truly TRULY researched Lopez and come out with anything less than true fright and horror? Google the man for crying out loud! Look outside of just this message board.

Contact someone personally who has had experience with him and talk with them privately. I used to guard my privacy due to my job but have made the choice to come out of the closet and I will personally speak to anyone who wants to talk. Unless you seem scary and unbalanced...then no thanks.

You want to talk about almost dieing I had DR BILLY . During my surgury he knicked a artery and had to go to open procedure. He gutted me like a fish. The lawsuit is still pending.I dont know if I will recieve any compinsation for my nightmare but all I can say is avoid DR billy now theres a butcher.

I am so sorry for your situation. I believe you. Why else would you share your story. You have every right to tell your tale and warn people if that is what you think is right.

I hope you get it all taken care of both legally and health wise.

Christine

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
