Soooooo I had off from work the past week from Christmas through New Year's and go back Monday. I have eaten so bad! I never over eat as I've never been able to or wanted to push that boundary. Nothing really bothers my pouch per say either. I just have been kind of grazing throughout the day which is not good and on unhealthy things such as potato chips and a cookie here and there. I was sleeved back on 01/31/15 and this is my first slip up since then. I do not plan on this becoming a habit or my new way of eating. I never want to go back to how I was before and I guess me coming here and talking about it is just me needing to get my thoughts out and see it in words lol. Well thats that and here is to an even better year than before for everyone. Thanks!

@@suitechicguy Yep, same thing here. Once all of the entertaining was done I finally got smart and threw out all of the tempting Snacks and goodies. I was lucky I didn't gain any weight, but didn't really lose any over the holidays either so I can tell I set myself back a little.

The thing is that you realized you slipped up. You can't feel guilty for what has already happened. Just move on and do better!

The good news is the holidays are officially over! There were a lot of temptations from thanksgiving through Christmas. Over all I did well and continued to lose weight but I feel like I lost my focus a bit. I'm glad it's January. All we can do is refocus on healthy eating, exercise and move on.

I know what you are going through, and don't trust your self when you say its just this one time,It can become a habit in Jst one day, and take 3 weeks to break it.grab an old picture of yourself put it in the kitchen.

Don't sweat it, the holiday season is over.

You have done a fantastic job at losing and keeping off your excess body weight and are below your goal weight. Keep up the great work!

I definitely applaud you! You have admitted your fault publicly and are on your way already to corrective action. That's what it is all about, especially for those who are looking up to you as you are so much further ahead on your journey than some of us. Thank you for posting this as well as setting an example of what done right looks like.

You are now in maintenance.

This is your first grazing moment. When the scale moves up get back into your plan to bring your weight to where you feel comfortable. It's good to acknowledge old behaviors. It's also ok when you are below goal to relax around weight loss mode and find your balance with maintaining.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
