cocoa8utter 32 Posted January 2, 2016 I am almost 2 weeks post-op and have developed stomach cramping after every meal and sip of Water or bite of food. I had a soft poached egg yesterday and it lay real heavy in my tummy. This morning I started with cramps. Drinking water made it a bit better, but then it came back. I am back on liquids. This has me scared. Any thoughts on this?
James Marusek 5,244 Posted January 3, 2016 After RNY gastric bypass surgery, your body needs some time to heal before you subject it to solid foods. That is generally 9 week post-op. Two weeks post-op is way to soon to experiment with solids. After RNY gastric bypass surgery, your body needs some time to heal before you subject it to solid foods. That is generally 9 week post-op. chele315 2 Posted January 6, 2016 I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow. I've been on solids since 1 week post op, but my doc said no eggs till 3 weeks out. I had my first one today (scrambled) with no issues.
