Pinkgirl1234 761 Posted January 21, 2016 But worth it.I am 3 weeks post op...each day I am less sore.I can now move to soft/purée foods...hopefully I will get more energy to be able to work out...pacing myself...slowly.I think in 6 weeks I will feel like myself again. Only better and less heavy!
babykins529 189 Posted February 6, 2016 I'm 5 days Post-op and had very minimal pain. I told my doc before I went under the knife that I have a low pain tolerance so she said I'll wake up with a PCA pump of hydromorphone, and it helped a lot. Everyone deals which pain differently. I'm glad you're having success with the weightloss. I'm not going to weigh myself yet because I know I'm still swollen and retaining Water from surgery. babykins529 189 Posted February 22, 2016 You aren't on Protein Shakes yet? Wow. No wonder you don't have any energy. I was having Protein shakes immediately post op. The left side will be the more painful side. Mine was.
jj7481 363 Posted February 22, 2016 Part of the liquid diet should be some form of liquid Protein. You'll be surprised how much more energy you have once you are intaking adequate Protein.
