Surgery done August 4th, stalling again. PLEASE ANSWER VERY DESPERATE

Recommended Posts

Is anyone stalling again? I'm stalling at 167 pounds I've lost 48.4 pounds so far. I had my surgery on August 4th, I've stalled once in the 3 week stall, but I really want to lose 33 more pounds maximum!! Idk if I could do it in 5 months! Is it the way I'm eating? I eat everything but in small amounts some days healthy some days not. I still eat carbs, but still get my Protein in. I don't track calories but I have not gained any weight, and some days I eat nothing and other days I eat a pretty good amount.

So is anyone else stalling? And do you think it's possible/logical to lose 33 more pounds in 5 months?

What do you guys suggest!

I just had mine 12/21 but I was on a strict low carb high Protein regiment prior to surgery and will be again. You might try to reset and do what worked in the beginning. Low carbs seems to be the key for me, I'm not sure about others. Hope you kick those 33 pounds to the curb.

Well, first I suggest you start tracking your food and Fluid intake. And I mean track - measure, don't guess. It sounds as though you don't have a clear idea of what you should eat or how much. You should have gotten that preop from your surgeon, NUT, or RD.

Second, are you exercising? How much?

Third, stop trying to set your bar for success based on this many lbs in that amount of time. Focus on goals you have control over, like whether you exercise a certain number of minutes each week or track your intake X days out of seven.

Scientific principle: You cannot control that which you do not measure.

Also, stalls are like lovers. Your first will probably not be your last.

I excersize every other day, with classes such as spinning and going to the gym, sometimes I can't for weeks because of exams or because I went on vacation, but overall I'm not sitting on my ass all day you know?
