Hagengirl3 65 Posted February 3, 2016 I make sugarfree Protein fudgesicles. I mix 2 cups sugarfree almond milk with 2 scoops Unjury chocolate Protein Powder. Blend that for 10 second then add a pkg. of sugarfree instant pudding and blend for 30 seconds. Then I pour then into Popsicle molds. They are 50 calories and 5 grams of protein. They have been a lifesaver for me and my sweet tooth.

Indieflickers 298 Posted February 5, 2016 Quest bars, 1 - 2 ounces of fruit, small piece of very dark chocolate...I'm also obsessed with Halo Top ice cream and Enlightened ice cream bars.
TristanNicole 169 Posted February 5, 2016 I ordered a sample pack of the Lenny and Larry's Complete Cookies. They are around 190 calories, 8 g of Protein, and unfortunately 15 g of sugar for half a cookie (they are big cookies). I'll usually have a 1/6th of one (about, usually i just break off a little piece) and it takes care of my sweet tooth.
NatashaSaysRawr 16 Posted February 6, 2016 When can I try out the sweets after surgery? I need some help!
Djmohr 6,965 Posted February 6, 2016 @@NatashaSaysRawr It looks like you haven't had your surgery yet. I had bypass and I don't know how different the sleeve is but I had absolutely no interest in anything sweet initially after surgery. In fact anything that even smelled sweet would turn my stomach and I was a sugarholic before surgery. For me at about 5 months post op I went on a Hawaiian vacation and my granddaughter had a slice of Oreo cheesecake. It looked absolutely delicious so I stuck my fork in it and then did it again and one more time. That was the night I learned that I truly don't dump. Now I still don't like anything overly sweet and thank goodness for that but I do get cravings for something sweet. I try very hard not to give in to my sweet tooth because it really is a slippery slope. I will usually have a pot of chocolate chai tea made with skim milk. The only sugar is that in the milk but it's enough to satisfy me. On occasion I will have a real treat but it is definately the exception not the rule. Anyway, are you wondering because you have a sweet tooth now? You definately want to focus your efforts on good carbs and stay away from processed foods and sugar to have the best possible weight loss. There will be the occasions down the road but initially I personally would stay away. That's just me. Good luck Monday!

princesswarrior 24 Posted February 6, 2016 Has anyone tried premier protein's Protein Bars?
Daisee68 2,493 Posted February 6, 2016 @@princesswarrior - I have and they are very good but they are much higher calories & carbs than the Quest bars, so I try to avoid them. The chocolate mint and chocolate Peanut Butter are the ones I have tried.
princesswarrior 24 Posted February 6, 2016 Ok, so it sounds like Quest bars are the best Protein Bar. Good to know, thank you 'daisee68'
TristanNicole 169 Posted February 9, 2016 Ok, so it sounds like Quest bars are the best Protein bar. Good to know, thank you 'daisee68' I bought a box of the Premier Protein chocolate mint and chocolate Peanut Butter over the weekend at costco. They are tasty and they have 30 g of protein. Id be cautious about the quest bars, I bough a variety pack online for $30 and i've only had one that i could tolerate, I think they leave a pretty strong protein after taste and the texture isn't my favorite and they are pretty spendy. I recommend going to a local supplement place so you can by individual ones and try them out to see if you like them.
Daisee68 2,493 Posted February 10, 2016 I just ate a Quest Mint chocolate Chip bar. It was SO good. The texture wasn't near as chewy as the others I have had. I don't know if it with the new formula or the old. @@JamieLogical which ingredient is it that caused so much problems? It says it has "soluble Corn fiber" which I think is the one you didn't like. Anyway, this one will definitely be in my Protein bar rotation.

If you do start experiencing some embarrassing gas situations in the next couple of days, then you'll know why. It actually took me a while to realize my Quest bars were the source of the problem. princesswarrior 24 Posted February 10, 2016 The Premier Protein bars are extremely good. They almost taste like candy. So far the Quest bars are just ok. Trying to find the best one with high Protein, low fat and low carbs. It is equally important that It agrees with my system.

Now that I do Combat Crunch bars, my favorite is Cinnamon Twist.
