snowangel 0 Posted August 2, 2007 sort of an update: I kept calling the doctors office to speak to a nurse. The last time I called I got this nasty lady who yelled at me, saying I don't have a problem, the nurse is too busy to call me and that I should just eat Proteins. First of all, she is the receptionist, and it is ILLEGAL to give me medical advice. Second of all, the nurse can't spare 1 minute talking to me? I am concerned about my band! This has gotten me really upset with them. I see my doctor on Monday, and I will talk to him. Thanks for all your support.
SimplyMe 0 Posted August 2, 2007 I am a retired RN......and worked at a doctor's office for years....you should always be able to talk to a doctor or nurse if you need help!!!! Good luck!
snowangel 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Thank you! I knew I wasn't crazy! My Grandmother is also a retired RN, and she said most of the time, they don't give them the messages, they get lost or thrown away...
wendy645 1 Posted August 2, 2007 I hope you got the receptionist's name!! Or at least what time and day you called so they may be able to find out who it was. That nastiness is uncalled for!

Kat817 19 Posted August 6, 2007 Well snowangel---I am so sorry you got less than wonderful news. BUT it is something they can fix it sounds like in the office. Maybe they plan on using the omnipaque. I have heard of that quite often. I have no idea why you have a leak....maybe it was punctured during a fill? Maybe just a weak spot? No idea! I am glad you finally got past the witchy receptionist and got to see the Dr. Now I would totally complain about her treatment, you KNOW now it isn't you overreacting. Please keep us updated, I'll be thinking of you! Kat
snowangel 0 Posted August 6, 2007 Kat, thanks so much for your well wishes! I did speak with him about the receptionist and he said that she was stupid and he would talk to her! lol He was very good about it. He filled me up again, so I feel very tight. On liquids, so hopefully I will lose what I gained last week. She shall see again on Monday!

Kat817 19 Posted August 6, 2007 Good for you for mentioning it to the Dr. They likely never would have known how the patients were being treated! Hang in there---let us know how it goes! Kat
