Kathy Coop 193 Posted December 29, 2015 I have been talking on another weight loss forum since before my surgery but it kind of just up and died and so I thought I would find a new support system in you guys. dhrguru 1,238 Posted December 29, 2015 Wow- you lost an amazing amount of weight- and two babies/// wins all around! Hi and welcome! I've heard of the 5 day pouch test-- I think any concentrated effort to get back to the basics is worth the time, even if it doesn't yield in weight loss after 5 days. The weight loss will come, building those habits is the harder part. Do you still follow up with your surgeon or nutritionist?
Djmohr 6,965 Posted December 29, 2015 Hi and welcome! You look fantastic! I have always said, if I got really off track for some reason, the 5 day pouch test is the way to go. If it is a matter of getting the rules back on track then you might be able to do that without the pouch test. You have all the info you need to be successful because clearly you have done it before. It's just a matter of reaching inside and getting the willpower to get back on track. You can do this! Good luck to you!
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted December 29, 2015 Congratulations! What a beautiful family. Welcome to this forum. It's a great source of support. I agree that going back to basics sounds like a good idea. You might want to also consider making an appointment with your NUT to talk about your goals. Also, here is a post I wrote about stalls that you might find helpful.
