Good luck. I know some people have difficulties with egg, even when on soft foods. I was able to eat them pretty well. Just try to make them really soft and on the runnier side.

My first soft food was refried Beans on the way home from one of my post-op check-ups.

My first post-op egg experience did not go great. It took me a good 45 minutes to eat about 2/3 of it and then I though I would die. I had to lie flat on my back on the floor for a while. It was quite painful. Hopefully it will go better for you! The important thing is to not give up on a food if it doesn't work out the first time your try it. I figured out how to pace myself and how much to try to eat and scrambled eggs became a big staple for me in the first couple of months. If the egg is too much, maybe try some soft cheeses. And definitely try Shelly's baked ricotta:
