So...I'm 4 weeks post op, and I feel great! The only thing is, I get hungry after I don't eat for an hour or two. And I know it is not head hunger because I feel a pain in my stomach. It goes away when I eat something, but then I just keep eating! I'm following all the rules perfectly. Help!!

I get hungry too, I have half an Optifast shake in between meals, it's a good source of Protein, it keeps hunger down and it means that I don't need to stop drinking fluids. It's what my dietician recommended

The Premier Protein shakes are available everywhere and are not expensive, are ready to drink and are my favorite. The 30 grams of Protein should help with hungry tummy!

I get all 3 flavors. I added coffee to my chocolate shake for mocha. I added Torani sugar free syrups to my vanilla shakes and can make so many flavors.

I didn't get hunger pain, but I did get a weak, woozy feeling if I didn't eat every 2-3 hours when I was 3 months post op. I can go longer now because I am eating more regular food, but I still need to eat more often.
