Mrs_O 118 Posted December 22, 2015 very interested in the low "dosage" of just 1 tablespoon of the GENEPRO Protein Powder but it really does sound too good to be true. i have not found any stats or research on it other than listed from the company so i was wondering if anyone has any actual third party info on it? anyone have good Protein levels while on it? i know it will not be my only source of protein but i don't want to waste time and money if it is bogus. it just seems like mixing a tablespoon in something would be much easier than your standard size 1/4 cup serving/dosage. thanks in advance!!! JamieLogical 8,713 Posted December 22, 2015 The only "studies" are ones they have done themselves. I have found no third party confirmation of their claims. If you want to use GENEPRO, I would advise counting it as 15 grams of Protein toward your daily total instead of the claimed 30 grams. Logically, it's not physically possible to fit 30 grams into 15 grams. Grams are a measure of mass. The claim is that their specific formula of Protein is absorbed and utilized by the body at a much higher rate than "normal" protein supplements, thus you allegedly get the BENEFIT of twice as much protein in half the mass. But again, there are no independent studies to prove their claims at this point. So you would be totally taking it on faith and running the risk of only getting half as much protein as you think you are. That's why I recommend counting it as just the actual and real 15 grams of protein. If you are getting the "benefit" of more protein because of their special process, then great, but at least you can be sure you are still getting your minimums in by counting it as only 15 grams. SeahawksFan 444 Posted December 22, 2015 I use it because it's the only one I have found that has no flavor and mixes well. I am not so sure I believe it's 30 so I count it around 15 like Jamie says. I am pretty lose with my counting though. I just always make sure I have Protein with whatever I eat. 14 months out and have been using it a year. Never had any problems with my lab work. I mix it in my coffee every morning. ~LA
Mrs_O 118 Posted December 22, 2015 Awesome. Thanks y'all for he response. Like I said I'm not counting on it for all my Protein so I may get it and just count it as 15 like y'all said. I'd rather do that and it mix well than some of this clumpy looking stuff. Yuck. I'm not really a shake consistency fan so I'll be mixing protein powder in just about everything else! number1rudegal 6 Posted December 22, 2015 Where can I order it from because I don't drink milk so I could mix with my Water
JamieLogical 8,713 Posted December 22, 2015 I did try a free sample of it that I received and it mixed well with my greek yogurt, so if you are just looking for a taste-free option that mixes well, it seems like a good source of at least 15 grams of Protein. In their videos they say it doesn't mix great with straight Water (didn't try it myself), but does mix well with any flavored beverage like Gatorade and with hot beverages like coffee or tea. I believe it was also available on Amazon at that time.

jane13 2,256 Posted December 23, 2015 @@Mrs_O - have you tried the unflavored Unjury? I like it as well,
Mrs_O 118 Posted December 23, 2015 Jane13, I have just ordered the sample of that along with their chicken Soup mix to try and I will also be trying out the Isopure unflavored as well. I figure between the three I should find something that works! Thanks for the info!!!!
fernandfj 469 Posted December 23, 2015 I have been using the Now Foods whey Protein isolate available on Amazon. I found it when searching for unflavored Proteins. It mixes well in my morning smoothies and is cheaper than many unflavored alternatives.
ready2bmenow 5 Posted December 27, 2015 I mix my GENEPRO with Water and crystal light twice a day, it makes it cloudy but doesn't alter the texture or flavor...my favorite by far. I will probably be devastated if my Protein level is not high enough and I have to switch.
