Daisee68 2,493 Posted December 20, 2015 Congrats on your loss thus far. Great work! How much more do you feel you need to lose? (Your weight is not shown in your info.) Are you getting in your Protein? Are you tracking your food intake? Are you getting in your fluids?
mmberglund 35 Posted December 20, 2015 I have 20 lbs to lose to be at goal. Fluids are spot on. Protein is a tad shy most days. The Dr wants me to try not to drink so many Protein Shakes. I do have a call into my nut.
Daisee68 2,493 Posted December 20, 2015 I would say you need to change things up. Get more Protein in (I am female, 5' 10" and get at least 80g per day and as much as 100g some days).
Inner Surfer Girl 12,015 Posted December 20, 2015 Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process. From what I can tell from the many posts about stalls, the closer you get to goal, the longer your stalls can be. Focus on following your program and getting in ALL of your Protein and fluids every day. If you are a "tad" low, then I would suggest increasing your Protein. If your surgeon wants you to cut back on protein supplements, then that means eating more protein-rich food. If you aren't sure how to do that then an appointment with your NUT is a great idea. Plus, if you are close to goal you will need to start talking to your NUT about preparing and transitioning to maintenance.
