Leesa926 72 Posted December 18, 2015 How long did everyone feel nauseous afterwards. My surgery was on Wed and I think I'm doing well except the nausea and tenderness bothers me.
Proud2BMe 1,016 Posted December 18, 2015 Only felt it one time on day two after surgery. It seems that the people who have the most issues are those with doctors that rush them into eating soft foods instead of doing liquids after surgery. Just my take though. HeatherB911 6 Posted December 18, 2015 My doctor said dehydration was main cause of nausea. Sip, sip, sip!!!
Miss Mac 6,262 Posted December 18, 2015 I had nausea for a couple of weeks, but it cleared up when I stopped taking all those meds and pain killers they sent me home with. Two years out, hydrocodone still does me in. One pill makes me sick for three days, so I avoid it as much as possible. Come to think of it, that is when that bitter taste left my mouth, too. tbehrens510 0 Posted December 21, 2015 I just had surgery Friday. Still feeling sore from surgery and having hard time putting down fluids. How long do you feel sore and does it get easier to drink fluids?
kranky813 477 Posted December 21, 2015 Mine was about 10 days. After that I felt great and the nausea was gone completely. I'm 4 months out and life is great! Just know it keeps getting better and better!
