I just don't get it. I can't figure out my new stomach at all. Most days I throw up what very little I eat.. It doesn't matter what it is. We haven't been able to figure out the triggers.. But today.. It's like I couldn't get enough food.. I ate the most food I have eaten since my conversion surgery today. 1 entire Protein bar.. salad with chicken.. Another antipasto salad.. 3 bites of pizza... And a ton of water! Granted I didn't eat an entire salad but I didn't puke either... Anyone else have these days????

Sorry, you lost me? You had conversion surgery today and you are eating WHAT? When was your operation? What was your conversion - lap band to RNY, lap band to Sleeve?

Because this is your 38th post, I am assuming you had surgery at least a month or two ago. How are you doing with the primary daily requirements: Protein, fluids, Vitamins? food is secondary, because your body is converting stored fat into the energy that drives your body, thus you lose weight. Just stick to the meal volume requirements and the approved food lists.

On one hand, you find it difficult to consume food which might be an indicator that you had a stricture. Perhaps your body self corrected the stricture and you suddenly now can eat. So eat! But remember to limit your volume and select only from the approved list. pizza is not on the approved list.

I was a sleeve to bypass conversion in August. I do stick to my meal plan and the pizza I should have mentioned was a home made cauliflower crust pizza the size of my palm. Not a traditional pizza. I stick to my meal plan and my volume is non existent most days due to the amount of liquid I have to consume. In my post it was literally 2 cubes of grilled chicken and 4-5 forks of lettuce that was cut at each meal and the pizza was the size of my palm and I only got in a few bites. I am happy I was able to keep that down. Most days I can't keep anything solid down. There is nothing wrong with my pouch, had testing.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
