Green1 16 Posted December 14, 2015 I had the lap band about 2 years ago now. I can feel the band around the upper part of my stomach and a sort of tension and uncomftorable feeling there. I used to breathe in pretty hard sometimes also but that has gone away. The lap band gives me an uncomftorable feeling. I also sometimes feel low and sad because of the lap band.
