Emilie.Lancaster 189 Posted December 12, 2015 This was the final question to my nurse before surgery. She said, hun, this uses a lot of core muscles, you know? I'm like uh huh, that's why I'm asking. She said well, once the incisions heal up, go gently, but there is a risk for hernia. My husband and I are newlyweds... But 5 days post op, I'd rather fall out of an airplane than make out... Sigh. Sigh.i guess ladies can start having it earlier than guys. It has alot to do with position and style aswell. some positions use more core muscle and push than other ones. is there a guide book for which position to do and not? does doing it alot effect the healing time? monyLiza 40 Posted December 12, 2015 I had the same question, I just waited until I felt it was the right time, about three weeks. I know it's hard on both you and the hubby but it's better to wait and be safe than get careless and get injured. Take it slowly, you'll get there soon enough and you will enjoy it that much more! Sex after WLS is amazing!
