crzydsy 1 Posted December 10, 2015 So had my band to sleeve surgery on the 3rd. Must say I was not expecting to still have pain a week out. All my incisions feel pretty good except where the port had previously been. I now have a very large hole in my stomach (yes it is stitched shut) but looks terrible when I turn to the side. I hope it looks normal once all the swelling goes down ???? . I have been on Clear Liquids for 3 weeks and hopefully will be moving to full liquids tomorrow after my Dr appt. I am happy to say I am down 27 pounds in 3 weeks!!!
VDLT 244 Posted December 10, 2015 I had more pain that I expected particularly in that same spot. I had hard lumps under the incision for weeks. My surgeon said it was inflammation and would go down and it did. My big incision was also caved in for a while because of inflammation around it but it's gotten way better. Hang in there! crzydsy 1 Posted December 10, 2015 Had my one week appt and found out the reason I have so much pain is because I have a huge blister below the incision and lots of Fluid around it. Started me on antibiotics, also an ultrasound. May have to have the fluid drained. On the upside get to move towards full liquids. I even get to try a bite of scrambled egg on Sunday
