ladee2279 29 Posted December 9, 2015 After you were sleeved, how long did it take for the pain and discomfort to subside?
Sophie74656 1,572 Posted December 9, 2015 everyone is different but my recovery was good. In the hospital I could get up and walk around with very little discomfort at home I camped out in our recliner, going from sitting to standing, or standing to sitting put pressure on the incisions and that hurt some, especially the main incision. And laying flat put a lot of pressure the first week and a half or so so I slept in the recliner at a 45 degree angle. The biggest complaint I had was back pain and that lasted a month-ish. But I never had to take a single pain pill, not even a tylenol

Now that I'm home I seemingly feel less discomfort when I'm sitting up than I do laying down. My back is bothering me as well. Thanks for sharing!
