terrym123 15 Posted December 9, 2015 I had my revision 7 weeks ago. All is well except I have ungodly flatulence.< /p> It is a new development (last 4 days) and I had just begun eating broccoli and other cooked veggies. I also eat cheese daily. And wheat thins... It is so bad my bum is burning. I read charcoal and GASX might help? Anyone else have this curse? Any ideas on how to treat it? Thanks.
James Marusek 5,244 Posted December 9, 2015 After RNY surgery, I became lactose intolerant and as a result anytime I consumed milk or a milk product it would produce flatulence and severe diarrhea. Therefore I had to stay away from anything that contained lactose, even some Protein powders. This condition healed after about 2 months.
