Imready2015 2 Posted December 23, 2015 I am only allowed Clear Liquids for the 1st week then all liquids the second week then 2 weeks.of purees
Imready2015 2 Posted December 23, 2015 I am not hungry at all! Problem is I cannot force myself to drink the clear Protein Drinks they taste too nasty to me. My NUT said to try a Protein boost shot that are about 3 oz so can get it down quickly. Just so I can get some protein in.
Chandi83 5 Posted December 27, 2015 I'm so glad I found this post also. I'm scheduled for December 28th TOMORROW and I'm so nervous. Can't stop think maybe I can do this without the surgery or is it all really worth it. I feel really prepared but now I'm second guessing myself.
Imready2015 2 Posted December 27, 2015 I was second guessing too but now that it is done (on 12/21) I still think it was the right decision. I have to remember that I have lost weight many times before and always gain it all back and then more. This will be my tool to not do that anymore! My recovery was relatively easy. Gas pain in the hospital but that disipated quickly. Barely used any of my pain medication. Hardest part is head hunger when the rest of the family is eating. We got this! Chandi83 5 Posted December 27, 2015 It's so nice to know that we are not going through this alone. I can't seem to turn my head off I'm so nervous but I know it's the right decision. I've struggled with my weight sense my teen years and always regain it all right back.
